Have you ever seen a business that was called a Small Business when you thought it was more on the big business side? Well, in the US the "Small Business Administration" decides what makes a business a Small Business. This is on an industry-by-industry basis as well as sales assets on net profits and the number of employees. So a Small Business is a business that has less than 500 employees and less than $7 million in annual receipts.
That sounds like a Big Business when it comes to other countries like Austrailia who says a Small Business has less than 15 employees and in the European Union 50 employees are less. So you want to start a Small Business?
